2012: The Year of the Word

Have you ever set out to read the whole Bible but stopped a few days or weeks into it (probably around Leviticus or Numbers)? Here is your chance to try again with the support of your brothers and sisters in Christ. Starting January 1, the whole Heritage community is invited to read through the Bible in 2012. We will be following a reading guide that organizes scripture into a "chronological" order. For example, we will read about King David at the same time we will read through the Psalms written by David. We will read the accounts of Jesus' baptism from Matthew, Mark, and Luke on the same day. Throughout the year, Pastor Chuck will be drawing on this schedule of readings periodically for Sunday morning sermons, and other resources will also be available to encourage you to keep reading from Genesis 1:1 on January 1 to
