Prayer Group: “Time With Him in Prayer”
1 Timothy 2:1-2 says: “I urge, then first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone. For kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
Every Sunday Morning at 7:30 am in the Chapel. We need to be praying for our country, our church, our individual lives. The prayer time is open to everybody. Come and pray with us, we need God’s help desperately in every area of life.
Prayer Chain:
We have a prayer chain that supports you in prayer. To place a request on our prayer chain:
Divorce Care: Sundays at 5 pm.
Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never face before.
During the first 30–40 minutes of the meeting, each DivorceCare group watches a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. These videos are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies and on-location video.
After viewing the video, DivorceCare group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members.
Facilitated by Triss Masters in her office in Building C. Childcare is available, to register for child care, email Sue Johnston at:

Please contact Cathy Iaquinto in the church office. Also, we need volunteers that can serve communion at Regency Oaks. Contact Cathy Iqquinto if you can help.
Pet Therapy Ministry:
Hi! My name is Buddy and I'm a Golden Retriever. Mom and I are part of the pet therapy team at Heritage and we have so much fun visiting our homebound church members. I love visiting days because, in addition to the church members, there are SO many other people I get to see, people who are lonely and need a friend and who perk up when they see me. I put smiles on the their faces and make them happy but the best part of all is when they pet me and scratch my ears. That's really cool! But......... I'm almost 13 years old and there are still lots of people in our community who need visits from tail wagging friends like me and I just don't have the energy to get to them all. There are 6 of us on the pet ministry team now but we still need more help so if you have a dog or cat who has lots of love to share, please call my mom, Dana Reames, at 727.796.5867 to find out how to get your pet screened and registered to do pet therapy. You and your "buddy" will have a great time!
Parish Nursing:
Did you know that Heritage has a Parish Nurse Ministry? If you need to consult with a registered nurse regarding any health issues, including prevention of illness, please call the church office at 727.796.1329 and leave your name and number. A nurse will return your call. Blood pressures are taken on the second Sunday of each month in the receptionist's office.
Hospital and Home Visits:
If you are going into the hospital, or know of someone going into the hospital, or currently in an extended stay in the hospital, please let us know. You can put it on the tear off that you place in the bulletin, or call the church office and speak to Rev. Don Jones or Triss Masters. We also make home visits if you know of someone who is confined to home for a time. This is a ministry we provide and look forward to our visits.
